Every day, parents in our community face the difficult challenge of choosing between diapers and other basic necessities. Since government assistance programs do not cover diapers, many families rely on organizations like Covered Bottoms Diaper Bank to help bridge the gap.
When you support Covered Bottoms, you're providing more than diapers. You're helping keep babies healthy, reducing stress for parents, and ensuring children have the essentials they need to thrive. Did you know that a gift of just $100 can provide a child with diapers for an entire year through our program? That's a full year of comfort, health, and support for a local family. A $5000 gift sponsors a TRUCK!
Making Our Mission Possible
Our mission is made possible through the generosity of businesses, foundations, organizations, and individuals who believe every child deserves access to clean diapers. We are grateful for the partners who help us close the diaper gap across West Central Illinois.

Volunteer
Volunteers are the heart of Covered Bottoms. Their time, energy, and compassion help us ensure that local children and families have access to the diapering essentials they need. You can join us by giving a few hours a year or by becoming a regular volunteer; there are opportunities for everyone to make a meaningful impact.
One of our most popular volunteer opportunities is our bi-monthly Diaper Wraps, where volunteers gather to sort, count, package, and prepare diapers for distribution. Volunteers can also support community diaper drives by helping collect, organize, and transport donations. Throughout the year, Covered Bottoms is invited to participate in community events hosted by local businesses, organizations, and groups looking to support our mission. These events often provide additional opportunities for volunteers to represent Covered Bottoms, share information about diaper need, and engage with the community.
No special skills are required—just a willingness to help families in our community. Every diaper wrapped, every donation sorted, and every conversation shared helps us move closer to a future where no child lacks access to this basic necessity.
Interested in volunteering? We'd love to connect with you and help you find the opportunity that's right for you.
Become A Distribution Partner
Covered Bottoms works with a network of community, nonprofit, educational, and healthcare organizations to help ensure diapers reach the families who need them most. Through these partnerships, diapers are distributed directly to families by organizations already providing trusted services and support within the community.
By becoming a distribution partner, your organization can offer an additional resource to the families you serve, helping address a basic need that is often a barrier to health, stability, and overall well-being. We partner with organizations whose programs and services support children and families, creating opportunities to connect families with essential diapering supplies alongside the other resources they receive.
Together, we can strengthen support systems for local families, reduce the burden of diaper need, and help ensure that every child has the healthy start they deserve. If your organization serves families with young children and is interested in becoming a distribution partner, we would love to connect with you.
