Our Mission
Covered Bottoms was created by two ladies who saw a need in our community and chose to help meet it. We are a nonprofit diaper bank serving families throughout West Central Illinois. Our mission is simple: to strengthen social services in West Central Illinois by building strong relationships with partner agencies and providing them with reliable access to basic baby essentials to distribute to families in need.
Diaper need is a hidden challenge that affects many families in our communities. While programs such as SNAP and WIC help provide food and nutrition assistance, they do not cover the cost of diapers. As a result, many parents and caregivers struggle to afford enough diapers each month, often facing impossible choices between purchasing diapers and paying for other necessities such as food, utilities, housing, and transportation. Covered Bottoms exists to help bridge that gap.
